My wife, Amy, and I just spent the past couple of days enjoying beautiful fall weather in the Klamath Mountains. We camped at Poker Flat on the Bigfoot Trail and explored the nearby Port Orford-cedar Botanical Reserve and the stands of Noble Fir that survived the 2018 Natchez Fire. It was a great opportunity to work on differentiating between the abundant Incense-cedar and the rare Port Orford-cedar.
