Apply to become a Trail Crew Leader

Crew Leaders are responsible for field operations. They work with small crews of volunteers and supervise our Wilderness Crews. During the timeframe of our trail work season, Crew Leaders work a rigorous schedule on backcountry trail projects. They are also responsible for some duties before and after work hitches.

Crew leaders serve as a professional resource to their crews, providing exceptional trail skills, leadership, communication, and making day-to-day decisions to meet work targets. They have a strong voice in project planning and are responsible for oversight of volunteers.
